CCPA Now Hosting Trail Life USA Troop WA 2206!
Calvary Chapel Port Angeles is excited to announce the creation of our very own Trail Life USA troop!
"Trail Life USA is a Church-Based, Christ-Centered, Boy-Focused mentoring and discipleship journey that speaks to the heart of a boy. Established on timeless values derived from the Bible and set in the context of outdoor adventure, boys from Kindergarten through 12th grade are engaged in a Troop setting by male mentors where they are challenged to grow in character, understand their purpose, serve their community, and develop practical leadership skills to carry out the mission for which they were created." ~from www.traillifeusa.com
The first meeting will be on September 25th at 5:30 pm at the Peninsula Evangelical Friends Church (1291 N. Barr Rd). They will continue to meet every Sunday night afterward.

Trail Life Oath and Motto
The Motto and the Trailman Oath are the distinctives that the troop desires to teach each Trail Life member to live by.
Trailman Oath:
On my honor,
I will do my best
To serve God and my country;
To respect authority;
To be a good steward of creation;
And to treat others as I want to be treated.
Motto: “Walk Worthy”
The call for a Trailman to “Walk Worthy” comes from Colossians 1:10 “… that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;…”
It is for these reasons that Calvary Chapel Port Angeles is thrilled to encourage this ministry for our men and boys.
